Office party puzzle
While in theory office parties should be a blast, in reality, they can be as daunting as a trip to the dentist for a root canal. Throwing your coworkers, supervisors, bosses, and "major honors" into the mix of your spouse, partner, or date, and you usually have (at least) an uncomfortable situation. While most people feel obligated to attend the annual office party(s), hardly anyone really wants to. But like staff meetings, those who don't go are considered lethargic! And while any office party can be harsh and tight-lipped, you can be the person in your office to change all that with some knowledgeable office party tips and ideas to make your party fun and engaging.
Office party planning
Most office parties are catered for, so you probably won't worry about appetizers, food, and drinks. If your party budget is too low, you likely don't have a band, but you can liven up the party (or, if you're having a theme party) with some great party speakers attached to your portable music device. Like in the '60s, you can choose music that was popular at a particular period or a Christmas song for holiday parties).

Office party games
Keeping your guests entertained (and out of the punch) involves some tricky maneuvers and fun office party games.
False liar, The game involves gathering guests in a circle and appointing a scorekeeper. Each guest must tell one truth about himself and two lies. When they are finished, the other guests must vote which statement is true. Each player is given one point for a wrong answer. The person who finishes with the most points is called the "biggest liar in the office" and is awarded a prize pick or prize.
idol game. Explain the rules of the game when guests arrive or create a short handout detailing the rules. At a particular time during the party, one person will be chosen as the "statue" of which no one else is aware. As every guest sees the idol, he should also become an idol. The last person to notice that everyone is rigidly frozen wins a prize.
Cotton Ball Game. This old standby is still hilarious no matter what venue it's being played at (and especially after your guests have had a few drinks). You'll need two buckets, two chairs, a large bag of cotton balls, a large serving spoon, blindfolds, and a kitchen timer. Place a cotton ball bucket on one chair, the empty bucket on the other chair. Blindfold the guest and move them around several times to distract their attention. Give them a serving spoon and "lead" them to the side of the bucket where the cotton balls are. Set a time of 3 minutes.
The guest on your "go" should use the spoon to remove as many cotton balls as possible and transfer them to the empty bucket. The guest who successfully transfers the most balls wins. They can only use one hand to operate the spoon. Another version of the game has the guest sitting in a chair, blindfolded, holding a bucket, and try to spoon as many cotton balls as possible onto the top of their head. The guest with the most balls on his head at the end of 2 minutes wins.
